Google Analytics is one powerful tool designed by Google to help webmasters track the performance of their websites. It shows us the amount of visitors that have visited our website, the keywords used to find the website, the traffic sources, and many more.
You may have already signed up for Analytics and have added your first website there, but what if you decided to start a second project?
Adding a second website to Google Analytics
Start off by accessing the Google Analytics website (https://www.google.com/analytics/) and log in with your account if it is not already logged in.Once are logged in with your account, click on the the Admin button which can be found on the top right corner inside the orange navigation menu:
Now in the center you should see PROPERTY and you may find below it your current website. Click on that and then click on Create new property:
Now you will be taken to a page in which you need to fill out forms with your website name, the URL, the category and reporting time zone:
Once you have filled the forms with the necessary information, you may click on Get Tracking ID and at this point, you will receive your tracking code which you then need to add inside your website's template.
